Pure Olove® Ingredients

What are Botanical Ingredients?
Botanical Ingredients are a component of a cosmetic or personal product that originates from plants (herbs, roots, flowers, fruits, leaves or seeds).

  • OLIVE OIL: Super Anti-Oxidant -     Olive oil is used for a number of reasons. Many people use it to add volume to your hair and make it softer. It can be used to condition your hair without fading the hair dye. It's also good for your skin. The main advantage to it is that it doesn't dry your hair out.
  • GREEN TEA: Super Anti-oxidant -     It nourishes your hair with vitamins and moisturizes it. The same antioxidants that help your body fight the free radicals that attack your cells also help your scalp when you use green tea shampoo. It protects your scalp from infections and gets rid of the impurities. Prevent hair loss and other hair disorders. The catechin helps inhibit 5-alpha-reductase, which contributes to baldness.
  • STEARTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE -     Helps to cleanse the skin or to prevent odor by destroying or inhibiting the growth of microorganisms and by helping water to mix with oil and dirt so that they can be rinsed away. They also help to form emulsions by reducing the surface tension of the substances to be emulsified.
  • SILK AMINO ACIDS -
    The mixture of amino acids resulting from the complete hydrolysis of silk. The principal amino acids contained within are glycine, alanine, and serine. Their low molecular weight indicates that the molecules can penetrate the cuticle in undamaged hair as well as the surface layer of the epidermis. Silk amino acids improve skin and hair with regard to feel and gloss, and have a moisturizing effect due to their water-binding properties.
  • SAFFLOWER OIL -     One of the most useful oils in cosmetics. The flowers are used in decoctions for skin eruptions, acne and skin blemishes.
  • ROSEMARY -     Anti-septic, stimulating and helps combat hair loss and dandruff. natural conditioner.
  • CHAMOMILE -     Made from the flowers of anthemis nobilis. Used for its soothing properties.
  • SUNFLOWER OIL -     Obtained from sunflower seeds. Bland, pale yellow oil that contains large amounts of Vitamin E. Natural oil. Seals moisture into the hair.
  • VITAMIN A -     An ingredient used for its regenerating properties. Improves elasticity, moisture content and suppleness while reversing the signs of photo - aging. Skin deficient in this nutrient appears rough, unevenly-thickened and dry.
  • VITAMIN C -     The most popular antioxidant, Vitamin C is a required component in the production of collagen, the tissue responsible for skin suppleness. Moreover, Vitamin C has been shown to help slow the production of hyperpigmentation ("age spots") while providing some UV protection.
  • VITAMIN D -     Soothes skin; has corrective qualities; an excellent skin nutrient.
  • VITAMIN E -     Vitamin E plays a crucial role in protecting skin cells and membranes from environmental damage. It also provides deep moisturize and calms inflammation.
  • PANTHENOL -     is a non-irritating form of Vitamin B that is usually derived from plants. When this natural, hydrating vitamin is applied externally, it penetrates into lower skin layers, gets absorbed into your skin cells and turns into pantothenic acid (commonly known as Vitamin B5). Because Panthenol is absorbed deeply into the skin, it adds essential moisture and has a desirable plumping effect.
  • GUAR HYDROXYPROPYLTRIMONIUM CHLORIDE -     Guar Gum comes from an Indian tree. The seeds are used in hair care. Guar is a cationic plant derived polymer with great conditioning & thickening properties. Guar Gum does not build-up on the hair and is an excellent detangler. Guar makes the hair soft and improves the shine on hair. There is also a reduction of static build-up and fly-away hair. It provides thermal protection against heat.
  • SALVIA OFFICINALIS: SAGE -     Sage is an excellent and safe natural disinfectant. Most of it's antimicrobial properties are to the volatile oil thujone.
